I am currently trying to do a Ebberon comic, and have already drawn 2 characters.I want you guys to tell me if they are somewhat decent. They are just for practice, doodled in paint...the ones in the comic will be done in Inkscape, but will have the general direction of these...

I used the same body and modified the heads...got lazy drawing the chainmail of the second one...

For the general idea: There will be 4-5 PC's, a lot of puzzle solving, and less fighting. The location will be Ebberon (DUH !)....will save the other details for later...

So what do you think?

Assuming the inkscape drawings are better than the paint ones (a fairly safe assumption), it sounds good.

Eyes a little bigger.
Lower the head; you shouldn't be able to see the corners of the shoulders.
Body seems a little long... and square. Take a really good look at the comic. Redraw some of the characters so you get a better idea of shape and proportion.

Put the legs at the ends(not in the middle) unless you are drawing an ovall(y) body.
Angle the sword a bit upwards, makes it a bit more realistic.

I modified the first one in Inkscape, but it is more of a doodle, not the final result, I need more practice with it.

I usually do them longer...but it was just a doodle.
