Does the Thrown Weapons fighting style work with Magic Stone?

I guess the question becomes, what kind of weapon is a Magic Stone?

Could I treat it as an improvised Dart?

RAW, I'd say no. It's a spell attack, not a weapon attack. And the magic stones aren't specifically called out as weapons, and aren't specifically noted as having the Thrown property. (Compared to something like Shadow Blade, which does specifically create a "thrown weapon".)

Similarly, it wouldn't apply to the Produce Flame cantrip's fire, even through it's also capable of being "hurled/thrown".
