Pandora's Tale (https://pandorastale.com/) by Xanthippe Hutcheon returns from hiatus today with chapter 6. The author has fully drawn the new chapter, and it will run five days a week until the end, at which point the comic will go on hiatus again until she's finished drawing chapter 7.

In the not-so-distant future, an evil corporation has created a race of genetically modified humans, called helpers, who are bred in a lab, brainwashed, and sold as chattel. The titular protagonist is a helper who escapes and joins The Resistance, an organization fighting to free the oppressed and overthrow the big corporations. Pandora still has much of the brainwashing she got, which she must overcome. Duertagonist Isabelle Monday makes it her mission to mission to help Pandora overcome her programming.

Both of the main characters are trans women, and this is important to the plot. All but one of the main cast are queer.

Though much of the comic is light-hearted, Pandora's Tale contains depictions of very serious subjects including slavery and transphobia, as well as mentions of sex work, sexual assault, and police brutality (no actual nudity or sex is shown on-panel, though).
