I cannot get a clear answer. By 5th edition rules, what exactly happens when hitting skeletons with slashing weapons as opposed to bludgeoning weapons? I like to play with a lot of undead, so I need to know.:smallcool:

The same as hitting anything else with it. In 5e if it isn't listed in the statblock then there's nothing excpetional about it compared to any other creature.
Edit: If the question was actually 'What does Bludgeoning vulnerability mean?' Then it just means that skeletons take double damage from bludgeoning weapons.
