I'm talking about making a magical rope that is permanent, of course, that you can use/activate to use as a rope trick spell. What would it cost? XP and gold? It has to last at least 9 hours but the longer the better. In first thought it didn't even have a duration but I guess that's a bit much?

Sorry. I advised you to post in the Homebrew subforum. But then even I didn't respond to your thread.

Tricky Rope
Upon speaking a command word this coil of rope may be used to duplicate a rope trick spell for up to 10 hours, once per day.
Faint transmutation; CL 5th; Craft Wondrous Item, Extend Spell, rope trick; Price 5,400 gp; Weight 10 lb.
Base Price Calculation:
= Spell level x caster level x 1,800 (command word item) / 5 (used once per day)
= 2 x 9 x 1800 / 5 = 6,480 gp , plus 1 gp for a coil of rope (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/equipment/goodsAndServices.htm#ropeHempen)
Crafting Cost Calculation:
= 1/2 base price in gp and 1/25th base price in XP...
= 3240 gp and 259 XP to craft.
