I'm a fan of Lawrence Block (http://lawrenceblock.com/index_framesetfl.htm) in general (excepting some of his stuff like the "true crime" novelizations he did), but the Scudder (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matthew_Scudder) novels are my favorites by far.
I'm starting this thread in the search for other fans. I haven't found other Block readers, although I've converted a number of people. I'm curious about other peoples' opinions about these books.
