I'm sure it's been noticed before, but take a master of nine who knows stance of alacrity.
Counter Stance (Ex): From 4th level on, whenever you initiate a counter maneuver, you can change your stance as part of the counter's action, even if it is not your turn.
Stance of Alacrity: While you are in this stance, you can use one counter per round without taking an immediate action.
When you use a counter you can use counter stance to change to SOL, use a free counter and then use counter stance to switch back to your previous stance.
Paired with a stance that grants minimal off-turn benefits it's a free extra stance.
