The spell 'Anyspell' from the Spell Compendium...

Anyspell allows you to read and prepare any arcane spell of up to 2nd level... The prepared spell occupies your 3rd-level domain spell slot.

The spell Triadspell, also from the Spell Compendium...

You alter one of your prepared spells so that you can cast it three times before it is expended. The prepared spell must be of 3rd level or lower, and once the triadspell is cast, you can cast the altered spell two additional times (a total of three times) before it is expended.

What happens if you Triadspell your Anyspell?
Can you prepare three spells in your 3rd level Domain Slot?
What happens if you Triadspell *them*?
What would you, as a DM, use to hit a player who tried getting nine spells out of the same spell slot in a real game?
Asking for a friend

Triadspell is 5th level, so you're basically trading a 5th level spell for two 3rd level or lower spells.

Regarding casting Triadspell on Anyspell, it won't work per Triadspell:

If you later choose to prepare a different spell in that spell slot, any extra castings provided by the triadspell are lost.

Since Anyspell replaces itself in your 3rd level domain slot with the wizard spell you prepare, it counts as preparing a different spell in that spell slot.

You can, however, use Triadspell on the 2nd level or lower Wizard spell you have prepared from Anyspell.

Also, Pearls of Power can be used to recover Anyspell (once the slot is emptied) and/or the spell you'd prepared and cast using it.

Aah, good spot - thanks. I should really read the descriptions properly rather than relying on memory :smallamused:

Triadspell is a downtime spell. The duration of Triadspell is Instantaneous and there is no limit to how long you can leave a prepared spell un-cast in its spell slot. Spend some downtime Triadspelling all your low-level spells, then prepare something useful on your adventuring day.
