So I am just wondering if you have any fun or weird quirks you like to have as a player (or as a DM you give NPCs). I am just looking for some stuff to spark ideas for my first batch NPCs. They don’t need to be particularly detailed. Anyway...here was one from my last character: I always introduced myself by a different name to new people.

It was odd, but I also had a reason from my backstory. If I was asked why...I would just tell players (or NPCs) that I was indecisive and had never settled on a name from my coming of age ceremony where my people picked their own name.

BUT...the secret reason that has yet to be revealed is that I simply hate my disgusting, foul mouthed, dirty joke telling, and greedy mother. I don’t want her to find me and ask me for money.
