I'm less sharing this for feedback and more just...to share it. If you wanna give feedback though go nuts, I'll check back periodically.

Presenting my version of the Final Fantasy blue mage, a casting class who uses the powers of monsters instead of traditional spells. Homebrewery Link (https://homebrewery.naturalcrit.com/share/q4sKiXBdVRbB). It formats fine in my firefox, I make no promises for other browsers. Googledoc link (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1e2h7TBn-lD-ARU5TpRaAJUDX9EWIzDPI/view?usp=sharing) may work too, though it seems to have an extra blank page at the start. Don't know why, not gonna fix it.

Includes three subclasses - the martial Azure Guardian, the knowledgeable Sapphire Keeper, and the arcane expert Cerulean Sage.

Rather than have abilities tied to certain creatures (which would require either a campaign-specific set of enemies OR a complete rewrite of the monster manual) I opted to have abilities tied to creature types. You get a steady drip of monstrous magics from leveling so you're not left powerless, but a note is included to treat additional monstrous magics as treasure in the same way spell scrolls might be for wizards, with a list included at the start of the monstrous magic section of abilities-by-creature-type for quick reference.

Also there's some neat CR17 statblocks at the end of the thing for use with their Aetherial Mimicry monstrous magic, but you might get some fun out of using them as actual monsters.
