When using True Strike, do you still have 20% miss chance against someone who is under the effect of Entropic Shield?

Entropic Shield (from d20srd.org):
"A magical field appears around you, glowing with a chaotic blast of multicolored hues. This field deflects incoming arrows, rays, and other ranged attacks. Each ranged attack directed at you for which the attacker must make an attack roll has a 20% miss chance (similar to the effects of concealment). Other attacks that simply work at a distance are not affected."

True Strike (from d20srd.org):
"You gain temporary, intuitive insight into the immediate future during your next attack. Your next single attack roll (if it is made before the end of the next round) gains a +20 insight bonus. Additionally, you are not affected by the miss chance that applies to attackers trying to strike a concealed target."

I would say yes, the miss chance from Entropic Shield would still apply against True Strike. True Strike is a divination ability, meaning the supernatural guidance is applied to you, not your weapon (a ranged weapon in this case). ES's effect, while stated as "similar to concealment" for a rules reference on miss chances, is not actually "concealment" (the spell is actually physically deflecting things) and therefore not negated by True Strike (or similar abilities like Improved Precise Shot).

Yes. the true strike lets you try to hit them really accurately, then the entropic shield bends the shot. you get a +20 to hit, not the ability to ignore cover or miss chances.

Edit: both Ninjad and Ninjaing. :smallcool:

Yes.
Similar to concealment and concealment are not the same.

Edit: Double simu'd!
