Looking for help fleshing out a build and need help with feats. Going at least 13 levels in Psion and want to focus on Psychometabolism. Thinking of Overchannel, Psionic Endowment & Psionic Weapon lines. Any thoughts/suggestions?

Take Psicrystal Affinity for sure, pick Hero or Nimble. Give it a Healing Belt (MIC) and keep it in a compartment on your person, so you still have line of sight/effect to each other but opponents can't target it directly or hit it with area effects. Always keep Share Pain active on it so you'll take half damage from everything, and its Hardness 8 applies to every instance of damage it takes from that. You can also share a Vigor power with it to get a significant hp cushion.

Consider taking Midnight Augmentation to use the Bestow Power method to recharge your powerpoints between encounters, if your DM will allow that to work.

Every time you level up, you can pick Psychic Reformation (https://www.d20srd.org/srd/psionic/powers/psychicReformation.htm) as you new power known and immediately manifest it to repick any feats, skill ranks, and powers, including swapping Psychic Reformation for a different one that you can learn at that level.

If you are looking to gish, then something like Psion 6/Anarchic Initiate 2/Slayer 5 could work well. You would need to pay the Track tax at level 6.

For more of a gish, Fast Movement Ranger (https://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/classes/variantCharacterClasses.htm#ranger) 1/ Psion 6/ Slayer (https://www.d20srd.org/srd/psionic/prestigeClasses/slayer.htm) is the route I'd prefer.

There's a Mind's Eye article (http://archive.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/psm/20070314a) that lets Egoists trade their 1st-level bonus feat for the Minor Change Shape ability (the signature ability of the Changeling race). Combined with the Warforged race, you can play as a robot in disguise (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transformer).

Thanks for those. Would Metapsionic feats be worth it? Quicken Power comes to mind right off the top.

If you're looking to buff, use synchronicity and Linked Power (both from Complete Psionic) to gain extra standard actions to buff while still allowing you to fight. Synchronicity costs a standard action to use, but it allows you to take a standard action at any later point in the round. If you Link synchronicity to another power (including another synchronicity), you expend your focus, 1 power point, and a standard action to gain another standard action and a second power that goes off right before your next turn. If that second power is synchronicity, you gain 2 standard actions.

It hemorrhages your very limited power points at low levels, and unless you take Psicrystal Affinity, Psicrystal Containment, and Psionic Meditation, you can only do it once per combat, but if you put some optimization work into it, you can continue to buff each round without eating up your actions that are used to attack. Just make sure you share all of your powers (buffing and synchronicity) with your psicrystal, so it can fight with you -- assuming you're not keeping it in your pocket just for share pain/vigor usage, anyway. It's also better (and much cheaper) than Quicken Power most of the time.

Also note that the Linked Power feat negates the manifesting time of the second power, as it goes off before your next turn no matter what, so you can use psychic reformation within 1 round if you have it available, always. The same goes for astral construct, psionic minor creation, psionic genesis, psionic identify, and so on.

And if you take Metapower (synchronicity + Linked Power), it reduces the cost of the combo by -2 pp, meaning the cost of synchronicity is free, and the cost of the other power in the combo is reduced by -1, which is a nice deal.

This has a ton of utility and combat potential, but it's extremely feat-intensive, so you may want to find ways to get additional feats (https://forums.giantitp.com/showthread.php?400840-List-of-Feat-Granting-Items-Locations-Grafts) for yourself. This includes your psicrystal gaining feats for the HD it gets (which grant it feats just like any intelligent creature with multiple HD, including animal companions and the paladin's mount), then taking feat leech as a power known and taking them for yourself. Temporarily, at least.

You may also want to procure yourself a Fine-sized riverine +1 sizing/morphing/metalline/skillful shuriken (or other weapon), so you always have a useful weapon at hand that will change size and shape based on what you want. You also count as having Medium BAB while wielding it. Makes for a fantabulous out-of-combat multitool, as well. Note that it's Fine-size because the costs of riverine weapons are based on weight, and Fine-size weapons weigh basically nothing. Sizing fixes that issue when you actually use the thing.
