The other day I learned about Battle Trickster from Complete Scoundrel. The requirements are trivial, and for two levels is basically "fighter with more skills, and slightly different save bonuses", so if you were already going fighter and don't need feats or ACFs that require a high fighter level, it's an easy alternative to add a bit of customization for minimal cost.

There's also Uncanny Trickster from the same book, which also doesn't tax you on feats or features (literally just costs 8 skill points and bam you're in), and seems like an easy way to progress a class that has nice features but a poor chassis.

What are some other prestige classes that have such easy prereqs that they can slide into low-op builds without needing you to pick up specific feats or take levels in specific classes just to qualify?

Ruathar comes to mind, though it does have an RP requirement.

Heir of Siberys, natch. Mythic Exemplar/Squire of Legend. Escalation Mage and Fatespinner, for arcane casters.

PF Evangelist; 9/10 advance your entire base class plus other stuff, and all it costs you is a feat.

...Okay, you have to do an obedience to your deity every day, but there are so many that you're guaranteed to find one that isn't too much work. (Cayden just makes you sing a shanty and chug beer for example.)

Church Inquisitor and Paragnostic Apostle are both easy and often useful to enter.

Fatespinner is rather easy to get into as an arcane caster. You can't ban divination and 5 skill points into profession is pretty easy.

War Shaper if you have the (shapeshifter) subtype, at which point the only requirement is BAB +4 (Changelings, Shifters, and Hengeyokai all have the subtype for LA 0). An excellent addition to any martial build, and even worth dipping on many full-casters.

For a Gish, Abjurant Champion is pretty brainless to slot in. It's a feat, spells you were going to cast anyhow, an easy proficiency requirement, and a +5 BAB requirement. Heck, even if you're not a gish, an Elf Wizard could take it levels 11-15 with no issue.

Master Specialist is just better than Wizard and it a no brainer instant qualification for a Specialist Wizard.

To add to this, Initiate of the Sevenfold Veil dovetails beautifully for Abjurers. Master Specialist requires Spell Focus, but gives you the other feats to qualify for Iot7V.

well since we have already started jumping into some of the class specific ones and ones Bear Warrior is incredibly easy entry just bab power attack and rage/frenzy and its rare to not have power attack if you have rage...

Halfling outrider seems pretty natural if you are already going halfling and mounted.

Nature's Warrior for wild shape ranger is incredibly easy to jump into

Spellsword for any gish is a decently easy jump away

Hunter of the dead only requires knowledge religeon and bab 5 though it is not a great class it is super easy to get into, similarly Knight of the Chalice

Ruathar comes to mind, though it does have an RP requirement.

I originally came here to mention Ruathar.

Aside from the RP aspect, it literally checks "Hey, are you 6th level yet, or 5th if you are a memorized full caster?" (or arguably 4th depending on how you read Versatile Spellcaster and things like Heighten spell or set list casters).

One that is an easy for for most divine casters is Contemplative. 13 ranks in a skill that you're fairly likely to have maxed anyway. Especially good for Clerics, who don't get class features as such. You drop to poor BAB and poor Fort save, but otherwise it's all gravy.

If you’ve got extra skills and don’t mind the RP aspects, Stargazer is dead simple to get into and grants a decent bunch of abilities.

Warrior of Darkness from BoVD? Yes, evil, yes BAB +5, yes, Iron Will, but the prereqs otherwise are pretty low skill ranks.

That reminds me: Dragon Lord. BAB +6, Intimidate 9 ranks. A lot of melee types will meet this by default. It may not be a great PrC (I personally think it's not half bad), but very easy for a simple Fighter or similar to slot into.

Decent for an Intimidate based build, doubly good if your table allows Leadership and its like. Also give little boosts to your whole party as a non action (if the DM allows you to seelct from Dragon Shaman auras as well as the ones in DrMa, all the better).

Thaumaturgist is pretty trivial. It does require one feat, but if you're planning on doing what the PrC is all about, you might have picked it up anyway. Otherwise, "Cleric 7? You're in."

Horizon Walker only needs Endurance.

Horizon Walker's pre-reqs are basically "be a Ranger"
