Preamble: OK, yes, grapple is mechanically scuffed in PF. But if you are wanting a big, muscle-bound character, who isn’t just “Me hit thing with pointy stick,” the only other obvious mechanical characterization without deemphasizing that bit...is probably grappling. (And being a big meat shield. And being intimidating. But shh. Details not needed!)
So, we’re going into the Wrestling sphere with the idea that we are already set on grappling, and there are no other considerations like opportunity cost or it being a combat maneuver or what have you. “Does it accomplish the fantasy of wrestling?”

Post-Review Analysis:
Not going to lie. I hate the sphere. Probably not entirely the sphere’s fault itself.
But I do like it for one reason: The Living Weapon talent basically got me thinking “Hmm, you know, if you reflavored Lancer sphere from an ‘impale’ to a ‘really tight grasp,’ that’s probably a very good ‘tough-guy’ sphere.” I'm probably going to ask my DM to make the Lancer sphere an unarmed sphere.

Flex Talents:
Inescapable Grasp vs teleporters

Maximize BAB? Yes, maximize BAB. Not for any scaling, but because grappling just can’t be accomplished otherwise. (Ignoring the Sage, which is just busted.)

Haven't read the full review yet, but just from this wanted to comment: Unorthodox Unarmed Training (http://spheresofpower.wikidot.com/practitioner-feats#toc81) is a feat that lets you pick any two spheres you want and turn them into unarmed spheres.

Fair enough. lol.

Although the only thing I would have cared about would have been the IUS getting packaged with it, more than the mostly insubstantial damage.
