Battlefield Controller

So, I am looking at the Glamour Bard for a battlefield controller. I am thinking a 1 lvl dip multiclass into Order or Peace cleric will give him that extra oomph. Cant decide which one would synergize better, a free ally reaction attack and heavy armor prof, or a stackable "bless".

Depends on how power your parties reaction based attacks are compared to their attack action.

Another option would be to dip into fathomless warlock. I would be able to do some movement control with the tentacle and lance of lethargy ( or ray of frost with levistus tiefling for a 1 level dip ) and knock off 20 ft of movement per round. Decisions decisions...
