Spell Resistance: No

This spell prevents fine-sized vermin from entering your space, and if you enter theirs, they will leave the square on their next action. Vermin of diminutive, tiny, or small size treat you as being under a sanctuary effect (as the cleric spell). At CL 6, this spell works on diminutive vermin the same as fine vermin, and medium vermin treat you as being under a sanctuary effect. At CL 12, it upgrades again to tiny vermin and large vermin, respectively.

Hmmm. Why not just use repel vermin spell? Your duration is far too long for a first level spell. More like 1 minute per level. If you want to make a weaker version of the spell it shouldn't have a longer duration than the official spell.

Spell Resistance: Yes
An invisible barrier holds back vermin. A vermin with Hit Dice of less than one-third your level cannot penetrate the barrier.

A vermin with Hit Dice of one-third your level or more can penetrate the barrier if it succeeds on a Will save. Even so, crossing the barrier deals the vermin 2d6 points of damage, and pressing against the barrier causes pain, which deters most vermin.

Is this a combat spell, or a quality-of-life spell? A spell that just repels normal non-swarm non-statted bugs would be fine at 1st level and lasting 24 hours - it's basically Endure Elements for the weather condition of "too many bugs".

A "protection from swarms" spell is rather stronger, and while it could be lower level than Repel Vermin depending on the details, probably not 1st level and lasting all day.

Repel Vermin is 4th level, can protect your whole party, is not broken by attacking, damages vermin who do come at you; it's much stronger.

Both, really. No mosquito bites, no walking into spider webs and getting bit, no creepy crawlies coming into your bedroll, etc, but obviously it also protects against swarms and relatively weak monstrous vermin.

Anyway I figure it's not stronger than endure elements, which has a 24 hour duration. Vermin are a specific enemy type (and are on the weak side already, especially the smaller ones).

I wouldn't consider Swarms to be weak. Individual bugs, sure, but Swarms are BURTAL at low levels.
