What are some unusual arcane and divine spells lists that wizards, clerics and druids don’t have access to (or access to most of)?

Wu-Jen have a few unique spells that Sor/Wiz don't get.

So do rangers, paladin, spellthief, assassins, Urban druids, trapsmiths and bards.

Some spells are the same but you get them earlier

Apparently, [incarnum] spells (from Magic of Incarnum) can only be cast if you've got the Incarnum Spellshaping feat.

Are there any other spells that have requirements like this?

There's a few sorceror-only spells hidden away (mostly in the dragon books) like undying vigour of the dragonlords and wings of flurry.

Some spells are exclusive to a particular domain. I know you listed Cleric as one of the classes that shouldn't have access, but most clerics won't have whichever specific domain.

Oh, and some Initiate feats too.

Also one or two Wizard only, like Rary's Mnemonic Enhancer (https://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/mnemonicEnhancer.htm). Although to be fair, that ended up being on a few other lists, outside of core (Sha'ir, Savant) and the Spell domain.

Not exactly the same, but some spells have a racial component (drow, fiend etc.), which can make it hard for others to cast them.

[edit] Also worth mentioning Corrupt and Sanctified, which aren't on any list. [edit]

I'm not sure if this is comprehensive, but looking at Imarvin...

All of the spellcasting classes in Oriental Adventures tend to get at least a few exclusive (not on a core spellcaster's list in this case) spells on their list that are quite nice

Shamans is the one I haven't seen mentioned, and they are a pet class of mine since they get both Turn Undead and an Animal Companion :

1) Attraction (also on the Sohei list)
2) Ancestral Vengeance
3) Weapon Bless (also on the Sohei list)
4) Trance
4) Commune with Lesser Spirit (also on the Kitsu School (Lion Clan) Shugenja list and Wu Jen list)
5) Create Spring
6) Invisibility to Spirits
7) Warning (also on the Sohei list)
8) Castigate (also on the Sohei list)
9) Detect Curse
10) Mental Strength (also on the Sohei list)
11) Mental Weakness (also a Maho spell)
12) Substitution
13) That art Thou (from Web Enhancement: Technically Brahmin variant only)
14) Dream Sight (shared with the Dream Cleric Domain (Complete Divine) and Oneiromancy)
15) Fatigue (also on the Sohei list and a Maho spell)
16) Lesser Spirit Ally
17) Reanimation (also on the Wu Jen list but at a much higher level)
18) Snake Barrier
19) Advice
20) Blood of Fire (also a Maho spell)
21) Commune with Greater Spirit (also on Kitsu School (Lion Clan) Shugenja list and Wu Jen list)
22) Possess
23) Force Shapechange (also on the Truth domain)
24) Spirit Ally
25) Compel
26) Greater Spirit Ally

1) Fire Breath (Flame Domain) (also on the Fire Shugenja and Wu Jen lists)
2) Internal Fire (Flame Domain) (also on the Wu Jen list)
3) Surelife (Fortune/Guardian Domain) (also on the Wu Jen list, and the Repose cleric domain)
4) Ghost Light (Grave Domain) (also on the Wu Jen list and a Maho spell)
5) Wall of Bones (Grave Domain) (also on the Wu Jen list and a Maho spell)
6) Giant Size (Hero Domain) (also on the Wu Jen list)
7) Iron Scarf (Metal Domain) (also on the Wu Jen list)
8) Magnetism (Metal Domain) (also on the Wu Jen list)
9) Elemental Ward (Nature Domain) (also on the Wu Jen list)
10) Master of the Rolling River (River Domain) (also on the Water Shugenja list)

For the sake of reference, I'll also try to list out the exclusive spells (spells not on the Sorc/Wiz, Cleric, or Druid list) for the other Oriental Adventures classes except Wu Jen (which I believe Thurbane already listed):

Shugenja (although not relisted in the Complete Divine update):

1)Protection from Taint (Earth)
2)Know the Shadows (Air)
3)Yari of Air (Air)
4)Tetsubo of Earth (Earth)
5)Bo of Water (Water)
6)Magic Circle against Taint (Earth)
7)Jade Strike (Earth)
8)Dispel Taint (Earth)
9)Circle of Flame (Fire)
10)Fire Breath (Fire) (also on the Flame shaman domain and Wu Jen list)
11)Yakamo's Anger (Fire)
12)Tomb of Jade (Earth)
13) Words of the Kami (Water)

1) Horse's Nose (Iuchi School (Unicorn))
2) When Two Becomes One (Iuchi School (Unicorn))
3) Commune with Lesser Spirit (Kitsu School (Lion)) (also on the Shaman List)
4) Commune with Greater Spirit (Kitsu School (Lion)) (also on the Shaman List)
5) Jade Aura (Yogo School(Scorpion))

Sohei (all just lower level Shaman spells):

1)Attraction
2)Weapon Bless
3)Warning
4)Castigate
5)Mental Strength
6)Discern Shapechanger
7)Fatigue

Maho spells can technically be learned by sorcerers, but requires the use of the cross-class skill Knowledge(Shadowlands) which is much easier for a Shugenja to make. It is also used by the Maho Tsukai prestige class.

1) Cobra Breath (also on the Wu Jen and Sepernt domain lists)
2) Ghost Light (also on the Wu Jen and Grave domain lists)
3) Kiss of the Toad (also on the Wu Jen list)
4) Mental Weakness (also on the Shaman list)
5) Cloud of Taint
6) Fatigue (Also on the Sohei and Shaman lists)
7) Heart Ripper (Also on the Assassin and Wu Jen lists)
8) Wall of Bones (also on the Wu Jen and Grave domain list)
9) Pain (also on the Wu Jen list)
10) Water to Poison (also on the Wu Jen list)
11) Blood of Fire (also on the Shaman list)
12) Tainted Aura

** Maho Tsukai's also get a few exclusive summons, such as Kansen (fiendish elementals) and Garegosu no Bakemono (Fiendish Giant Octopus with the Barghest's feed ability). It is still a Summon Monster spell backing it however.

That is interesting. How far would a Wu-Jen get with only the Wu-Jen only spells?

Pretty far. Magnetism is a particularly interesting one I find you can probably build entire characters based on the application of moving metal from point A to point B through someone, much as the spell is written mostly as if it teleports to you, it doesn’t state that, meaning it instantly travels to you through actual space. I can kill a fair few catgirls in my way with the ability to safely railgun a shuriken back to my hand.

Or hey, friends in a jam? Magnetism their belt buckle to drag them to you! Sure the DM probably will have to make up some minor damage for being forcibly ripped from your position by your belt to your wu jen friend, but the power of magnetism is a pretty good spell, and I’d even say if the wu jen only had that spell, with some creative usage of ways to use it, I’d consider it as a dip every character.

Just as an aside, between things like Hexer, Southern Magician etc. theoretically Archivist has access to every spell in the game.

You need to hope the DM is going to play along though, and have a Wu-Jen who just happens to have the Southern Magician and Scribe Scroll feats.

It's not truly unique, but Wu Jen also have access to the rare surelife spell, as per the adaptation in Complete Arcane (iirc. Somewhere it states that they inherit the OA spells, but that's the only one that applies for them that wasn't reprinted in CAr).

What are some unusual arcane and divine spells lists that wizards, clerics and druids don’t have access to (or access to most of)?

There are actually quite a collection of sorcerer spells that really boost the class:
1ST-LEVEL SORCERER SPELLS
Ghostly Tail: Your tail of force can be used to take advantage of an attack of opportunity.
Strength of the True Form: Polymorphed/shapechanged casters can use their new stats, or original stats, whichever is better.
Wings of Bounding: Get a +20 circumstance bonus on a Jump check.
Wings of Swift Flying: Increase your temporary fly speed by 30 ft.

2ND-LEVEL SORCERER SPELLS
Essence of the Dragon: Confer the dragon type on touched creature.
Magic of the Dragonheart: Enhance the benefits of your draconic feats.
Primal Hunter: Gain a +5 bonus on Climb, Jump, and Swim checks.
Tail Slap: Attack a foe for 1 round/level and knock him back on the first round.
Wings of Cover: Grant cover against a specific attack.

3RD-LEVEL SORCERER SPELLS
Dragonblood Affinity: +2 bonus on all saves, checks, attacks, and damage rolls to one dragon or dragonblood/level.
Primal Instinct: Gain a +5 bonus on initiative checks and Survival checks.

4TH-LEVEL SORCERER SPELLS
Hoard Life: Store some of your life force for later healing.
Primal Senses: Gain low-light vision and a +5 bonus on Listen and Spot checks.
Tail Sweep: Your tail of force can attack a group of foes within 10 ft.
Wall of Scales: Create a barrier of dragon hide.
Wings of Flurry: Your wings of force can attack all foes within 30 ft.

5TH-LEVEL SORCERER SPELLS
Arcane Fusion: Cast two spells you know without expending additional slots.
Dragonblood Spell-Pact: Dragonblood creatures can swap known spells of the same level.
Manifest Dragon Heritage: Conjures a wyvern.
Undying Vigor of the Dragonlords: Heal yourself of 5d6 or more points of damage.

6TH-LEVEL SORCERER SPELLS
Dragoncall: Dragon compels 1 intelligent creature to come to his location.
Primal Speed: Gain a +5 bonus on Reflex saves and a +10-ft bonus to speed.

7TH-LEVEL SORCERER SPELLS
Aspect of the Platinum Dragon: Take the form of an aspect of Bahamut.
Summon Aspect of Bahamut: Summon an aspect of Bahamut.

8TH-LEVEL SORCERER SPELLS
Arcane Fusion, Greater: Cast two spells without expending additional slots.
Aspect of the Chromatic Dragon: Take the form of an aspect of Tiamat.
Manifest Dragon Heritage, Greater: Conjures a dragon turtle.

Although there are shenanigans to include these spells across many other class.

Is that the same as this one? https://www.d20srd.org/srd/divine/spells/surelife.htm

What a weirdly - and poorly - worded spell.

Checked the OA version: it is the same spell, but the text there includes some examples, which makes it a lot easier to understand the intent of the spell. I do find it somewhat amusing that "being immersed in boiling oil" is considered a "natural occurrence" though. :smalltongue:

Does persisting this and casting it 2x/day technically grant immunity to death via old age? That's certainly a natural occurrence, right?

Actually, just thought of another class that gets quite a few spells unique to their list: Bard. Surprised it didn't come up earlier. Was mentioned earlier.

Again, not sure if this is comprehensive. The ones with asterisks are also found in cleric domains:

Vigilante means many of those spells are not uniquely bard spells.

Hound of Doom appears to be the only exclusive Hexblade spell.

Blackguard appears to get Corrupt Weapon, Demonhide and Distort Weapon.

Unique ranger spells:

Arrow Storm
Blade Storm
Blade Thirst
Bloodhound
Decoy Image
Detect Favored Enemy
Doublestrike Arrow
Easy Climb
Exacting Shot
Foebane
Swift Haste
Hunter's Mercy
Mark of the Hunter
Phantasmal Decoy
Safe Clearing
Smell of Fear
Stalking Brand
Surefoot
Towering Oak

Actually, not that confident about my lists now, since IMarvin seems to miss things like Justice of Weald and Woe, Consecrated harrier etc. Although to be fair, CH specifically uses the Ranger list, with a few additions. I guess that technically means there are no spells unique to ranger only.

Jester possibly means that some of the bard spells I listed may not be unique.

Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but there are two casting classes from Tome of Magic that get completely unique spell lists. The Truenamer is widely regarded as a poor choice, but can be decent with proper optimization. I've never played a Shadowcaster, but from what I gather they aren't exactly powerhouses either. I think there's a "fix" for them from the original author floating around somewhere, but I haven't played with that either so I still don't know how good it is. I've looked through the Shadowcaster's list a couple of times and the only spell I can remember is one of the 9ths that's just "Time Stop but longer duration". I'm pretty sure it got errata'd to not be as good anymore, but it's still "almost Time Stop" so, pretty good. None of their other spells left any sort of mental impact on me.
