As the title says. All 3.5 content including Dragon Magazine (excluding kalimdor). I need some input for my next TO build to see what options I have, so pls help me out here.

Any spell that manipulates my targets dream fits.

Source and lil description what it does would be nice =)

Thx in advance to everybody taking/wasting their time.

I did a dream-themed character (https://forums.giantitp.com/showsinglepost.php?p=24809459&postcount=45) awhile back. The final build ended up being Warlock, so most of what I know about is feats, but maybe still helpful to you. Also, the Lucid Dreaming skill from the Manual of Planes is well worth checking out.

Oneiromancy (Heroes of Horror) - Cast normally even while in a nightmare yourself. While in a dreamscape, bonuses to Enchantment and Illusion.

Improved Oneiromancy (Heroes of Horror) - Oh hey. This one just straight up adds a bunch of dream themed spells to your class list: restful slumber, dream walk, manifest desire, manifest nightmare, dreaming puppet, dream sight, all also from Heroes of Horror. Best on a fixed list or divine caster.

Dream Scion (Secrets of Sarlona) - Enter a state of waking dreaming several times per day. Stat boosts, and ask your DM if you can use the Lucid Dreaming skill to alter the real world while in this state (either just as you experience it, or actually altering the Material Plane). This is also the prerequisite for six other feats, most of which provide somewhat minor bonuses, but also let you end the dreamtouched state early for a much heftier bonus.

Skill Knowledge (lucid dreaming)/ Aereni Focus (lucid dreaming) (Unearthed Arcana/Player's Guide to Eberron) - Both of these add lucid dreaming permanently to your class skill lists. Aereni Focus comes bundled with Skill Focus, but can only be taken as a 1st level elf.

Live My Nightmare (Unearthed Arcana) - Whenever you are targeted by a divination, the caster gets hit with phantasmal killer. RAW, the victim can still die from the Fortitude save even if they disbelieve the illusion, but I doubt that was RAI. Combine with Insane Defiance (Elder Evils) and some method of healing/preventing Wis damage to cast divinations on yourself and shunt the phantasmal killer onto a target of your choice.

Oh, and mindrape (Book of Vile Darkness) can also presumably screw with people's dreams, in addition to, well, literally everything else about their psyche.

Dream (https://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/dream.htm)
Dream Casting (Spell Compendium)
Nightmare (https://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/nightmare.htm)
Nightmare Lullaby (Spell Compendium)
Plague of Nightmares (Book of Vile Darkness)
Symphonic Nightmare (Spell Compendium)

Also, Shapechange (or Polymorph with Assume Supernatural Ability feat) can give you access to such abilities as Dream Haunting (Night Hag (https://www.d20srd.org/srd/monsters/nightHag.htm) - but required Heartstone), Invade Dreams (any Quori (https://eberron.fandom.com/wiki/Quori) of 9+ HD), or Nightmare - like the spell, but doesn't required any special knowledge or connection to the target (Malfera, Dragon #343)

Thx for the replies so far. Some interesting options so far.

Just for reference, the upcoming build will feature a craftlock, so spells from all classes (even obscure ones) are welcome here.

And I'm still looking for a dream spell which gives more control on what is going on in the dream. Something like Programmed Image as dream spell. So far none of the mentioned spells explicitly gives this much control/freedom. Do we have such a spell for 3.5?

Barely a dream, but in Complete Mage there's Fever Dream which makes someone have so high a fever that they start hallucinating and being exhausted, finding spellcasting and conentration difficult, etc. Shaping dreams is probably done through a Dream Walk Spell (Oneiromance - which just allows you to get in not to change things) and the Lucid Dreaming skill.

Dream Travel spell (Manual of the Planes) allow to travel to the dreamscape "in the flesh", after which you can alter it with Lucid Dreaming checks
If you don't want to be exposed to the dangers this way, you may try to send a simulacrum instead of yourself (or use Astral Projection)
