Gauntlets of Dimensional Attack

Simply put, you can use one of your Dimensional Door spells to dimensionally charge an enemy instead of charging the enemy on foot.

You can attempt to charge attack any opponent that you see within 560 ft. if you can cast Dimensional Door spell. This is a special full-round action that includes casting a Dimensional Door spell. If you fail to cast the spell or something prevents you from casting the spell at that moment, you miss the round. The movement is entirely extra-dimensional so you do not have worry about the normal movement restrictions that involve charging.

You can appear in any legal position that allows you melee attack the enemy.

No creature may be transported with you when you cast Dimensional Door in this manner.

Faint conjuration; CL 6th; Craft Wondrous Item, Dimensional Door, Freedom of Movement; Price 1500 gp, weight 2 lbs.

It is hilarious because you charge and since it is through the use of Dimension door it means you can not act afterwards

After using this spell, you can’t take any other actions until your next turn
So you can not attack after that full round action(so no pounce) and you can not do opportunity attacks: your opponent can literally punch you without retaliation.

The good thing about this item: you can bypass a lot of limitations on charges.
The bad thing: you are a sitting duck that can not act in melee if you miss the single attack you are allowed to do.

By reading the stats on that item I reached the conclusion it was made by an artificer (how else can be caster level be so low when the spells are this much high level)
If you want the item to be created by more normal characters you need to bump the cl to 7.
Also it is dimension door and not dimensional door.

It's very underwhelming. Charge isn't that great to begin with, especially if you have multiple attacks per round: pulling out a ranged weapon and performing a full attack might very well be better alternative.
Also, you have to cast dimension door yourself, so, barring some obscure shenanigans (3.5e is riddled with them, admittedly), you want at least 7 levels of a full spellcasting class, and they mostly don't want to be on the front lines (yes, I'm aware of clerics with Portal domain). And full spellcasters generally have the ability to blast a foe into oblivion from a distance at the cost of the same 4th level slot.

How about this?

This pair of magic gauntlets allows you to use dimension door on command 3 times per day, but, unlike the spell, you can't transfer any creatures with you. Additionally, whenever you use the gauntlets or cast dimension door yourself or from a spell completion or a spell trigger item and don't bring anyone else with you, you may perform a melee attack of any available sort immediately after teleporting. The target of this attack is denied its Dexterity bonus to AC against this attack, exactly as if it was flat-footed.
