I’m reviewing a chapter from a fiction manuscript, and several scenes take place in an ER. I have some concerns with how certain aspects of staff and policies are portrayed, and as a reviewer I’m trying to get a sense of how this fictional portrayal matches up with real-world hospital policies.
I would appreciate being able to talk with someone who works in that environment, so if anyone here has experience working in an ER—or knows someone else who does—it would be great if I could get in touch and ask a few questions.
