I have a group of npc's that are always looking for a business angle. The players are going to be escorting them to a newly founded fey city (like a day visit thing), but I want the npc's to encounter some kind of business opportunity while there.

What should it be?

A chance of investing in a silver mine, or gem mine?

Are these happy go lucky Fey, or darker Fey?

Happy go lucky:
Intelligent animal pets (that are well treated and have a say), potions that will act as a limited polymorph potion and turn the imbiber into a specific creature, color changing flowers, vials of memories, animated/glamoured clothing (think cloak of billowing), pleasing food with magical benefits, enchanted furniture (armoires that always clean and press the clothes in them, etc.), musical instruments (possibly self playing)

Darker:
Slavery/indentured servitude including pets and people as pets, years of people's lives, talents or abilities, vials of memories (yes, it made both lists, depends on the type of memory), poisons, potions to enchant (think forcing someone to love someone), food of a cruel bent (e.g., eaten or cooked alive, flavor enhanced by suffering, etc.)

These are good fey, from the Kingdom of Justice. They are peaceful, nearly pacifists. They recently arrived in the mortal world after fleeing the Feywild. They have a democratic government. Kind of like magical Athens, I suppose. But there's only a few hundred of them left.

I really like the magical pets, and the magical clothes would be great b/c the npcs are ladies of leisure with an established love of fashion.

I can't introduce anything that's too disruptive. This is a multi-DM game.

Their new city is actually on top of an old gold mine.... Though canonically it's tapped.

Could be out of gold but not of all valuable material.
