I'm running my first wilderness travel bit tomorrow, and I was wondering if there are any terrain generators? Everything I can find is maps, when I want more of a description Of the environment in each hex.

Try using ai dungeon in completion mode with enough forest landscape descriptions?
The issue is that it will definitively give half of the time or more than half of the time really absurd results you will have to throw away.
