Is there any chance that the OOTS coloring book will be available as a download pdf (through gumrod?) anytime soon?
It costs 5$ but the shipping would be 40$ for me so that is a bit too much.

While the quote (https://forums.giantitp.com/showthread.php?482227-War-and-XPs-and-Start-of-Darkness-now-available-in-PDF-from-Gumroad) I recall refers only to Snips, Snails, and Dragon Tales, I would deduce it probably applies to the coloring book as well as I'm pretty sure it is also an Ookoodook exclusive.

Will the rest of the books be coming out?
Yes! Unless sales really fall off a cliff or something, I have every intention of releasing all the regular books in the series as PDFs, eventually. (Snips, Snails, and Dragon Tales (https://ookoodook.com/products/gtpotsdr) will probably remain an Ookoodook-exclusive until we sell out of the last paper copy.)

It seems counterproductive to buy a coloring book in pdf.

You can print it out. A lot of people would prefer a personally printed PDF they purchased online to paying $40 for shipping a real coloring book to their country.

With modern printing buying coloring book as a PDF sounds like a better option overall, TBH.

Yeah, it says it's Ook-exclusive on the shop page: https://ookoodook.com/products/gipots-cb

Also, I guess it might be a product of its time, but I kinda expected it to be "adult colouring book" territory (something like "copies of panels 2 & 3 here (https://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0964.html), but upscaled and uncoloured" - using pre-existing art would probably make it relatively low-effort for the Giant). The pages shown as a preview are definitely "Ages 3-5" sort of stuff.

It is definitely in the genre of "color and activity book for kids" with nods to things only fans of OOTS will "get" (some of which are kind of stale now as the comic has advanced in the intervening decade-ish) rather than "adult coloring book" with detailed scenes to color in. I think the original idea was that OOTS fans would buy it, read through it once for the jokes/references, then hand it off to their kids to use. (I have my copy un-colored and stored with the rest of my OOTS stuff, but I don't have kids.)

There's also us adults who don't enjoy the amount of detail in "adult coloring books" and much prefer the simplicity of the ones that look like they're designed for children.
