Erudite convert spell to power

Hi I'm working on building a erudite for my next character the only problem is that I want to use the convert spell to power variant. Here the problem my dm will only let us use stuff that is licensed by wotc and I can't find this in any book. Also wotc has taken down there achieves of 3.5. So, where can I find this to prove to my dm that it is not homebrewed?
