So starting at 3rd Level looking for an idea of building a Synth Summoner, but more as a support as we have some up front fighters already.

I already picked Asimar race and were starting at 3rd level.

I know the classic natural attacks and bash technique, but we could use some skills and support (no healing needed though).

Any suggestions for what evolutions to go after for that kind of build?
Biped and some more spells?
Quad and mount?

Current stats looking like:

Str: 8
Dex: 10
Con: 16
Int: 14
Wis: 12
Cha: 18

but can move these numbers around, the other players are sort of min/maxing a little so I don't feel too bad if I come out strong.

Thanks for any advice!

So support would be buff, debuff, healing, right? That would come from the Summoner spell list, which is quite good in this regard. I think Synthesist would add any benefits to that, and if you're looking to skills you may even prefer the extra skill ranks from having a regular eidolon.

Regarding evoutions, the obvious ones would be Basic Magic, Minor Magic, Major Magic, and Ultimate Magic to pick up some extra buff spells (1/day only, but you can pick the most useful one with the evolution surge spell), plus Skilled for the skills.

Well, you're in luck:
A summoner has disguised tier-2 casting (unless you're going "unchained"). Yes, the spell progression ends at 6th level spells, but they get a lot of discounted spells (As an example: Haste as a 2nd level spell, which makes it potentially available at 4th level, one full level before the Wizard gets it). So for the most part, just go through the Summoner Spell List (https://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/spell-lists-and-domains/spell-lists-summoner/) and pick spells to suit.

A couple of gems for a Synthesist: Lesser Evolution Surge (https://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spells/e/evolution-surge). Just two points, but that's enough. The one you want is Extra Feat (https://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/base-classes/summoner/eidolons#TOC-Extra-Feat-Ex-). The feat you want is Expanded Arcana (https://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/general-feats/expanded-arcana/) for bonus spells known. One round's notice and you have the perfect spell for the job (provided it's on your class list, anyway). You qualify because - as a synthesist - you and your eidolon are one. Just don't take the Extra Feat evolution normally, as it's not one of the ones you can have multiple times.

As for actual evolutions:
Most of what you want in a utility character isn't found in evolutions. So go with Enhanced Charisma (you get the benefit, as you get the evolution) so your save DC keeps up with the Wizard. Grab defensive stuff (AC, miss chance) so you can do your shtick (spellcasting).
