1. The villain from one of your favorite shows or other piece of media just shows up from a portal. crossover time!

2. cyborg dinosaurs are attacking! stop them and figure out why.

3. Your entire team suddenly gets teleported far away from Earth and must figure out a way to get back- but in what state will your city/high school be in by the time you return!?

4. various shadows in the city have suddenly detached themselves from people and protesting outside city hall- but all the people without shadows are falling ill, what is happening?

5. A strange building has appeared where there wasn't before- but your team of heroes are the only people that notice it exists

6. One of the students whom your friends with suddenly says a strange sentence to you in private "how goes the infiltration of this planet, did you replace the human yet?" looks like someone has loose lips...

7. A science experiment....goes completely right for once. But its still a prototype and while it has benefits for a lot of people, you've gotten a tip from a reliable source that some villains are planning to steal it for their own benefit.

8. You find an old dark mages study underneath the school and looks recently used- but no mage to be found, some bloodstains on a pentagram and some seriously dark and spooky things being done here- but where is the mage, and how long have they been here?

9. some students start repeating a meme mindlessly over and over again until its the only thing people are saying, they don't see to be stopping....and its spreading

10. you wake up and everything seems normal until you put on the news- it has live footage of your super team busy foiling a robbery, but none of you are even there.

Hey everyone, I知 a fairly new GM and I知 looking for ideas for my game.

I知 currently running a Savage Worlds/Masks: A New Generation hybrid game here on the Playground that follows four teenage superheroes through their adventures in Iron Station, a made up city in Louisiana.

I know I can pull from comics, but I was looking for some original adventure ideas. Anything would be helpful!

I haven't played that particular RPG, so I don't know what kind of power level a "super" would have, but here goes:

Mobsters acquire high tech equipment (powersuits? lasers capable of punching through a tank?) probably from a "mad" scientist either willingly or unwillingly cooperating.

Cultists steal artifacts from museums (either locally or worldwide) to bring back an elder god or ancient mummy king (you could probably borrow a lot from Call of Cthulhu modules/stories if you adjusted them a bit)

An alien spacecraft (or fleet) begins scanning the Earth systematically with beams that appear to do nothing, except when they touch a super they drain all their powers

Do a supervillain campaign, the players themselves take initiative on what they will do and you as the GM would just have the world respond. This requires more of a buy-in from the players because they would need to come up with nefarious plans.
