Hi,

I'll craft weapons but we don't have access to the morphing enhancement. However, the crafting trick to do with shuriken is so good that I wonder... maybe even if it deal 1 damage, with all the enhancement on it, it worth it.

For a medium creature, is the damage 1d2? I never intend to throw it.

Thanks for the information and have a nice day.

Nope: Shuriken (https://www.d20srd.org/srd/equipment/weapons.htm#shuriken):

Shuriken

A shuriken is a special monk weapon. This designation gives a monk wielding shuriken special options. A shuriken can’t be used as a melee weapon.

Although they are thrown weapons, shuriken are treated as ammunition for the purposes of drawing them, crafting masterwork or otherwise special versions of them and what happens to them after they are thrown.
(Emphasis added)

That said, you can with Arrows (https://www.d20srd.org/srd/equipment/weapons.htm#arrows) or Bolts (https://www.d20srd.org/srd/equipment/weapons.htm#bolts), which have the same enchanting benefit. Improvised weapon, -4 attack rolls.

Note that "An arrow that hits it's target is destroyed" is not a line exclusive to ranged attacks, so hitting someone in melee with an arrow still breaks it.

Note that "one that misses has a 50% chance of being destroyed or lost" is not a line exclusive to ranged attacks, so missing someone in melee with an arrow still risks breaking or losing it.

Note that raptor arrows (MIC) are not affected by arrow breakage.

The thread is getting funny <3

Note that raptor arrows (MIC) are not affected by arrow breakage.

I would suggest a brawler dip (dragon magazine) to get proficiency with Improvised Weapons to bypass the -4 to hit penalty.

Q: IIRC we have a self repairing material in 3.5. I just can't remember the name.. Someone help me out here *I kinda feel like looking to MaxiDuRaritry's direction, cause I think I remember that he/you sometimes mention it*

Of course, if we're going with this reading, it's also susceptible to being lost if you miss with it in melee, despite presumably being in your hand.

Living Metal (Magic of Faerûn):

In addition, an item made of living metal naturally repairs damage to itself, healing 1 hit point per minute. It cannot repair itself if brought to 0 hit points or destroyed (such as through disintegration).

What, you've never been in the situation where you can NOT find your house keys, despite having them in your hand just a minute ago?
