If a party had a cleric who made a Revivify spell scroll in the case that he himself went down, what are some ways that another party member (artificer or ranger for instance) can make sure they pass the DC13 ability check to revive him?

Enhance Ability spell to get advantage comes to mind. Guidance gives 1d4, and Flash of Genius at Artificer 7 would help. Are there any other ways to improve the odds? It's a shame it wasn't a skill check where proficiency could be added...

Bardic Inspiration is a big one as well as Jack of All Trades.

Star Druid's Dragon Form makes all Intelligence and Wisdom ability checks at least 10.

Being a hobgoblin will allow you to save face if you mess up barring that being a halfling will ensure you don't roll a 1, if you've got a Divination Wizard they can use their portent to guarantee a success (though they should have used their portent earlier to make sure the cleric didn't die) the help action will of course give advantage if you don't have another source of advantage.

Once the artificer gets to 14 it wouldn't be an issue thanks to savant. Past that it would be the standard fair of advantage, FoG, and rerolling. Lucky would work as would the new SB spell.

Once the artificer reaches 9th level this won't be an issue due to it being able to cast 3rd level spells and it being on their spell list. Same with Rangers as Tasha's added it to their spell list.

This is true I was thinking of Raise dead for some reason

There is no such distinction. There are ability checks, and on some ability checks, the DM can choose to allow you to add your proficiency bonus, if you have some proficiency that you can argue to the DM makes sense to apply. A relevant skill proficiency might be one grounds for such an argument, but it's not the only possible one.
