This is a paladin archetype inspired by the song Neon Knights by Black Sabbath. Let me know what you all think, and if it should be rebalanced in any way

While all paladins swear to defend the weak against the forces of figurative darkness, some also focus on fighting the forces of literal darkness as well.

Blessed by the Night (Sp): At 1st level, a neon knight can call upon holy powers to cause his armor to have a red glow at will, as per the Light spell. The neon knight’s light can only be applied to his armor, and is considered to have a caster level the same as a cleric of the same level.

This ability replaces Detect Evil.

Holy and Bright (Su): At 2nd level, a neon knight can change the color of his light to give himself energy resistance equal to paladin level divided by two. When the neon knight’s armor is illuminated due to the Blessed by the Night ability, a color can be chosen as a swift action, and the appropriate energy resistance is applied for one minute. The neon knight gains uses to this ability equal to 3+his charisma modifier. The colors are as follows for resistance.
Green: Acid
White: Cold
Blue: Electricity
Orange: Fire
Magenta: Sonic

This ability replaces Divine Health

Out of Shadows, Shining Ever Bright (Su): At 8th level, a neon knight is immune to spells and spell-like abilities with the shadow descriptor. Each ally within 10 feet of him gains a +4 morale bonus on saving throws against shadow effects.

This ability functions only while the paladin is conscious, not if he is unconscious or dead

This ability replaces Aura of Resolve
