I can't seem to understand how the "less than" and "greater than" symbols work in Anydice.

If I were to try and calculate what the odds of getting a total higher than 30 when rolling 8d6, then I would normally do "output 30 < 8d6". Anydice will then tell me the chances are 30.54%.

If I were to try and calculate the opposite, what are the odds of getting a result less than 30, then I should be able to do "output 30 > 8d6". Base off of my previous calculation the answer should be 69.56%. But instead, Anydice tells me the chances are 61.98%.

I don't really understand why Anydice gives me completely different results based on whether I use the "less than" or "greater than" symbols. I apologize if I'm missing something really obvious and this is just a basic math thing, but it doesn't make sense to me.

EDIT: Never mind, I figured out why the results are different after I thought about it for a bit.
