So Shapesand is an Alchemical Item that allows you to use a Wisdom Check to create any physical item you'd like within a certain price range.
Then there is the spell Awaken Sand. It makes a permanent independent construct out of sand or similar material, so it should work on Shapesand right?
The idea is to have the Awakened Shapesand take the form of a manikin + clothes with a personalized form. They can basically be my assistant & attendant, as well as turning into handy tools & even the occasional manacles, cage, vehicle, etc.
My only issue is, how much Shapesand do I need to qualify for Awakened Sand? A Huge sand monster seems likely to be a big cloud of the stuff & not an actual 15ftx15ft block of dense sand. So then the question goes to, if the how much Shapesand is used to make a manikin, & what then happens to the volume of Shapesand that isnt used? Does it get left behind?
