In the same spirit as Ludic Savant's Resistances, Immunities, and Vulnerabilities of Monsters in MM, Volo's, and MToF (https://forums.giantitp.com/showthread.php?612317-Resistances-Immunities-and-Vulnerabilities-of-Monsters-in-MM-Volo-s-and-MToF), as a new core-ish bestiary is out, I thought it wise to survey Fizban's Treasury of Dragons for damage resistances and immunities.
Some General Notes before we hop into it:
1. As you may have noticed by the title, there are no vulnerabilities in Fizban's.
2. A total of 70 creatures were surveyed.
3. Some creatures have a floating elemental resistance, representing creatures derived from different dragon types. These are counted as each a separate resistance/immunity. An even more exceptional case is the Metallic Greatwyrm, which has two different ways to get fire immunity, from being a brass or gold greatwrym. Both were counted as unique instances of fire immunity.
