I like V's unlucky drinking time. 385 for me.

V on the sauce wins hands down! 385 for sure!

Icewalker

I'm torn between 383 and 385...

I think I may have to go with 383 because of the title.

383. It's the line built around the sudden shift from murderous (i.e. normal) Belkar to charmed Belkar that makes it for me.

This is not a drill! All hands on deck!

For some reason, I just love 381.

Angafirith

It's just gotta be 383.

David Argall

Several worthy winners here, but I will opt for 382

Chronos
2007-11-23, 01:37 AM
Haley smacking down her crazy alter egos was good, but Vaarsuvius helping Sabine out with relationship advice is better. 385.

Roy Tamir

383#... all the others was great but that one was the best.

Archangel Yuki

383#
Because it IS scary that he knows the words.

I'm going to go for 385, but like many others I was tempted by 383.

382 for me - all hands firmly on deck there (yes, I realise this is technically a quote from the previous comic)

RMS Oceanic

383. More classic Belkar for the win.

Prowl
2007-11-23, 04:09 AM
383... tough call, since all five strips were largely just plot wrap-up, the only really funny part is Belkar singing (while finding it preferable to handing magic items to Nale, as well as killing the rest of the OOTS being a non-factor in Belkar's willingness to take commands).

Sampi

385 for me. V is for victory.

Kurald Galain

383 remains the funniest here.

385

Belkar and Durkon's expressions during the chase is just classic.

Instead of just the best out of every 5, is there any topic that compiles them and makes the best out of every 50, 100 etc. or maybe the top 5 OoTS comics?

EDIT: yes there is, and I just found it

Dunamin

Many good ones here, but I'm going with 383 - because of Nale moreso than Belkar.

SKarious
2007-11-23, 06:05 AM
385 it is.
A "girl talk" strip where we still have no clue about V's gender - V is just awesome.
Also "Git away from me, ye daft fool!"

The strip is really in its stride here - all good strips here although no stand-out as truly great.

I'm going with 382 as I just love ensemble pieces, but there no losers in this set :)

I'm split...383 and 385 are both so good..but Belkar's had a lot of great moments, so I'll give this to 385 in a close one.

I think 382 this time. 385 is a close second.

385, I love that one. :smalltongue:

I'd have to say 385 because of the V humor.

383
Belkar...

381 is okay, I like panels two and three.

382 is very funny and a turning point of sorts, but I never really liked the personification of self-loathing. Didn't really amuse me. (The last panel is terrific though.)

383 is hilarious, especially the last panel. Although we already had a pretty good idea, we now know the full extent of Nale's plan. Also, classic Belkar.

384 was good, not great.

385 wins, though, simply because of the irony of it all and the hilarity of the last four panels.

385 is my vote, followed by 383, 382, 381, and 384 (in that order).

Hmm... tough one... But I'll have to go with 385

#383 gets my vote.

"Meet me in St. Louis, Louis, meet me at the fair!"

"I love being evil."

#382. I like dramatic resolutions. I've always loved denouements.

Megalomaniac2
2007-11-23, 03:11 PM
383 for me.

I gotta love 385, one of the funniest in that part of the story

385 - Clang clang clang went the trolley!

kukn
2007-11-23, 07:37 PM
This group is kick-ass!

I'll go for 383. But 381 and 382 come a very close second. (for some reason I find 385 to be the weakest of them, guess I have a different taste from the rest of you...)
