For the nostalgics and those of you who aren't afraid to play a game with less than stellar graphics, let me draw your attention to http://www.fullyramblomatic.com/

There's a tetralogy of old-school adventure games called XDAS (5 Days A Stranger, 7 Days A Sceptic, Trilby's Notes and 6 Days A Sacrifice, in that order) which I've recently played through and I feel are very awesome games that need to be supported.
There's also a couple of platformers that are very well made, Art Of Theft being my favourite.

Ooh, hey, I played 5 Days A Stranger. It was good. That guy also does Zero Punctuation (http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/view/editorials/zeropunctuation), by the way.

Thanks for the reminder that I still haven't played the other three games.

Yeah, I've seen all the Zero Punctuation reviews, great stuff.
I've just started messing around with AGS myself (the program used to create the XDAS series) and incidentially, my respect for the mans work has increased tenfold
