Playing my first ever barbarian (MPMM bugbear for a level 10 1-shot) - There is a dreams druid in the party with maelstrom. I realized in the right encounter, they could cast maelstrom centered on me raging, and I’d almost always pass the strength save while the spell generates a forced movement funnel toward me. My guy uses a reach weapon so effectively has 15’ reach on his turn, so he can hit most of the 30’ radius from the center.
I normally play a wildfire druid in another game with a barbarian and thinking this would be even easier to pull off because I could teleport softer allies out of the 30’ radius before their turns.
This is a spell I’ve struggled to find the right circumstances for, but this seems this should work when fighting a crowd. Anything I’m missing?
