This is a tragedy I came across while fishing earlier in the week with my 5 year old son. I brought it to the local news agencies attention and took three of them out to see the carnage...Make sure you watch the video reports on the page...

As I am at work and they are blocking internet video I cant watch the video but the pictures are telling enough of a story. While I really dont have the time to fish anymore and have not fished in a long time, I enjoyed it alot. That is tragedy. Why did they not let people fish for weeks before they started pumping? Even if you do not do catch and release that would be fine as the fish would not be wasted. I cant believe they did not realize it would be that bad, as one article said a very similiar thing happened another time when they repaird a levee.
