A red slaad can inject their egg into anybody (whether humanoid or not) and that can result in a blue (or green) slaad.
A blue slaad can only infect humanoids with slaad fever, a process that might result in a red (or green) slaad.
So the latter process is restricted to humanoids but the former is not.
Do I have this right? Is there any reason for the asymmetry? And are there any restrictions on the egg implantation process to create blue slaadi?
