Does the Inventioneer give free invitations?

Recently decided to try my hand at building a Inventioneer Armorist in hopes of subsuming money dependency but then after rereading the Inventioneer it doesn't say anywhere that it does.
So what I'm asking here is that does the Bound Invention feature let me get free inventions?

The character doesn't pay cash for the benefit of summoning inventions ex nihilo.

I wouldn't call that free, because in DnD class features are far more a precious resource, but no point in quibbling here.

I just mean in the terms of money since independent inventions are quite pricey.
