Bark Order
Pelt gives an order to his dog. As a reaction, the dog can make a single attack, add Pelt's proficiency bonus (+2) to his AC until the start of Pelt's next turn, or immediately make a saving throw against a condition affecting him. The dog can use this reaction even if normally prevented from taking actions, such as if he's Stunned, but not if he's unconscious or dead.
