The Eyes of Ocular Adept and Sphere Minion

Ocular Adept is a PrC for worshippers of the Great Mother from Faiths & Pantheons giving the character the central eye of an eyeball on their forehead to shoot rays.
Sphere Minion is a PrC for servants of beholders from Dragon #292 giving the character three eye stalks and some of the rays of a beholder. As the capstone (5th level) the character becomes a monstrous humanoid and his two normal eyes turn into one big eye.

The big question now is: Does a character that has both PrCs have two eyes? On on his forehead (eyeball eye) and the other directly below it? Would if he was an Adept before capstone of Sphere Minion the 'central eye' just fuse with the other two eyes? Would a beholder turning a 5th level Sphere Minion into an Ocular Adept just replace the big eye with the eyeball eye?

That's my assessment as well.

The Sphere Minion's "normal eyes" fuse to create one big eye. However, the Ocular Adept eye isn't a normal eye - rather, it's an implanted eye taken from a beholderkin, and thus not a "normal" eye.
