So the 3rd Party book Arcforge: Psibertech* From Legendary Games** has two interesting feats

Astral Mechanics: Your Astral Constructs are now Robots that you craft out of nothing and have Int 10 and other Robot Template stuff. Also you can now grab Robot Upgrades where Menu A Astral Construct Abilities can be swapped out for 1 UP, Menu B for 2 UP, and Menu C for 3 UP. Thus you get skills, feats, your Astral Constructs can grab 60+ new Robot Abilities, but also Robots can grab Aegis abilities where each 1 UP is 2 CP and thus there is 80+ Aegis abilities.
.
Biomech Construct: Your Constructs are a mixture of Aberration and Constructs keeping all the pros of Constructs but now are also Aberrations and have a con modifier in addition to the bonus hit points a construct gives. Larger sizes give larger con bonuses at Huge you have 16 Con, Small 10 Con, Medium 12 Con, and Large 14 Con. Lastly you can swap out Menu A / B / C abilities from Astral Constructs for the equivalent with the Metamorphosis line of powers. Thus you can take your level 9 Astral Construct who is normally Huge and use 2 Size Increases making the AC now Colossal. Put another way the largest a medium creature can be is 2.5 meters, large 5 meters, huge 10 meters, gargantuan 20 meters, and colossal is 40 meters.

* Matt Daley is responsible for the Arcforge setting and has over 30+ 3rd party books before Paizo hired him in 2018 https://www.drivethrurpg.com/browse.php?author=matt%20daley
** Michael Sayre is responsible for Akashic Mysteries, Spheres system various, City of 7 Seraphs, and over 30+ 3rd party books https://www.drivethrurpg.com/browse.php?author=Michael%20Sayre

So the real purpose of this thread is to ask what is the most insane thing you can do with this if you have access to 3.5 and Pathfinder Feats on your astral construct? Also anything else you can think of the 160+ abilities since your Astral Construct can poach from Aegis, Metamorphosis, Robot, and base Astral Construct abilities?

Boost Construct (http://dndsrd.net/psionicFeats.html#boost-construct) gives you one extra option, and the Constructor PRC (https://web.archive.org/web/20160403200434/http://archive.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/psm/20040625b) gives another two that stack, while the DSP version of the Shaper focus gives an extra top-level option. So that's six Menu C options for a 9th, before anything else from this specific batch of 3rd-party Pathfinder plus WotC 3.X.

Oh, Constructor also gives a Menu C option for +5 damage per melee attack, which goes well with the Astral Suits having a 2 CP option for +3/+2/+1 damage for two-handed/one-handed/light weapons, the fact Astral Construct Menu B Muscle is typeless +4 Strength while Brawn from the suit is Enhancement up to +6 for 6 points, Metamorphosis Menu Menu B has +2 sizes with +4 Strength that stacks with everything so far in case 4-point Improve Increased Size from the suit costs more. So far, that's 8 points Astral Suit, two Menu B, and one Menu C for +14 Strength and +6 to +8 damage. Down to two open Menu C at this point if I'm tracking it right, as two need traded to get 8 Astral Suit CP, with 2 robot UP left over, while one's traded for two Menu B, and one's directly used for Constructor's +5 damage option.

The real fun is in Enhanced Construction (https://web.archive.org/web/20190913133356/http://archive.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/pse/20020727c) (well down that page), a 3.0 Mind's Eye feat that gives you 1d3 extra Astral Constructs with a maximum level based on the one you actually pay for. For 9ths, it's up to 7ths, which get five Menu Cs. Oh, and Constructor lets you pay an extra 2 PP for an extra full Astral Construct. In case you can't tell, Constructer is absurdly good here! The saddest part is that you can't get Astral Ally with Constructor levels, as having such a fully juiced Astral Construct power rendered Permanent, with three Gargantuan 7th-level Constructs and two Colossal 9ths, would be utterly hilarious. And probably impressively broken.

Dazing Assault is only 2 feats, a level 7 Astral Construct can grab this feat and have a total of 7 feats with 5 to spare. 🤔

Throw in lots of natural attacks, throw in reach and you got a blender of dazing attacks with fort saves of 10+BAB which is 23. 25 if one uses Ability Focus.

We can also make the Aegis invisible while we do this for level 7 ACs have menu C abilities. A level 7 AC roughly accessible at HD09 for the psion with 2 levels of overchannel feat, prion gifted trait boosting the ML by 1, and the Akashi Augmentation feat means you only need 12 ML to cast 13 ML effects for Akashic Augmentation reduces the augmentation cost of 1st level powers by 1.

The Aegis options open Akashic Veils as well. I do not have any combos besides the Aegis using Crusader’s Shield for Defensive Purposes.

🤔 With flight, a very big AC, and invisibility one can have total cover and the ability to see through the astral contruct while blocking line of effect so your enemies can not target you until they kill the invisible large meat shield. It is not a win condition by itself, but it is another layer of defence where your astral construct can be a flying magic carpet / body shield while you buff or target other enemies that need killing.

Likewise while Crusader’s Shield is better if your meat shield has feats to spare you can use the In Harms Way / Body Guard feat chain and use your AC to block an attack if somehow it bypasses the size for it comes from a different direction. The 3.5 power, Damp Power also can be used to get rid of large damaging spells that target you like fireball. The real danger is targeting save or sucks with no attack roll, or things that impact an area do no damage but suck, but that is what Crusader Shield is for blocking Line of Effect thus no targeting, and there are ways to stop area spells that just stink such as Freedom of Movement getting rid of many sucks.

Oh right, PF is a feat per two levels, not three... There's also a few you can get from the menu options, of particular note being Menu A Power Attack for Dazing Assault to cost just one "hard" feat. Also Menu A Metamorphosis giving extra Natural Attacks to use such things with. What's the text on the UP>CP conversion? Because if it has no constraints, then 4 CP gives two fully-functional extra arms explicitly allowing for TWF with two-handed weapons. Sure, getting Colossal two-handers isn't easy, but it can be hilarious to have something using two of them.

Menu A also has Cleave, Improved Natural Attack, Mobility, and Improved Bull Rush. Pick a +2 sizes thing, take INA, Power Attack, and Cleave as Menu A, and take Great Cleave as a "hard" feat. If I understand it correctly, it then deals 6d8 damage per Slam and as a Standard Action can make a try at chaining hits. Plenty of room left for the Vital Strike chain, which brings single-target Standard Action to 24d8, which is pretty bloody good. Especially if you have two of them!

Although you do need an ML bump in that case, as Constructor loses two and you need 19 PP in one Power to get an extra 9th-level Astral Construct.

Zoom!

Flight is 2 Aegis CP aka a Menu A ability, if you spend 4 CP your flight is perfect. 2 CP makes your flight speed equal to your land speed. Each additional CP increases your flight by 20 CP thus a large AC has speed of 40-ft, 4 CP (aka a Menu B) is 80-ft perfect, 160-ft for 8 CP (a Menu C ability)

Also initiative is easy for your Astral Construct even if the Dex stinks. 1 CP is the Jittery Psicrystal for +4 Initiative, Improved Initiative is another +4, the Implanted Psicrystal is another feat and gives half your AC’s HD plus 2 extra to Initiative.

There is a Psionic feat Ready Response that can make you always act in a Surprise Round. Combine this with the teamwork feat Lookout and both you and your Astral Combat can act in the Surprise Round and you may get your full actions.

Lastly Psicrystal Ball is 1 CP if your AC has Psicrystal Affinity as the other 1 CP. Psicrystal Ball allows you, an ally, or an enemy to make re rolls with your AC’s immediate action. Except the reroll is for a fixed number you did earlier so you already know the reroll is going to be a 17 or a 2.

In sum your Evangelion AC will be an awesome “utility” mount that goes zoom, flies, acts first, and helps you out.

Gift of Time if you want to go Warrior Soul (something I am hesitant on) will allow the AC to donate actions to you.
