how do get nominated for a "in the playground" or am I just missing something. I know I'm sounding like a noob, but I wanted to know.

They're in SMBG. Just wander into the thread, and say "Vote for me!", then you'll have a chance of being nominated for something.

Next contest is Angels, Devils, and Demons itp, just for your information.

Someone else nominates you, although you can lean on someone to. It's in the SMGB.
