"In its heyday, the Phylund Hunting Lodge was the center of activity for the family businesses of breeding, taming, and training a wide variety of beasts and monsters, and hosting hunting parties that mixed luxurious leisure with thrilling adventure for the idle rich of Waterdeep."
I think this is a really cool idea for a one-shot or a side quest in the area - especially with it being so close to Waterdeep. The problem is that the only source I can find that uses this location is Scourge of the Sword Coast which features the lodge after the family is long gone and it's overrun with hyenas and gnolls.
Has anyone run the lodge back in its "heyday"? I could see the adventure going a lot like a fantasy version of Jurassic Park with wealthy people coming to see amazing monsters, but then some of them could escape.
If you haven't run anything similar to this, what kinds of creatures would be good for this? Ideally for level 5-7 characters.
