Classes that run on "borrowed power"

Hey all,

I'm making my own rpg for fun and what I'm trying to come up with inspiration for a class.

Specifically what I'm asking for is class info from any TTRPG where the class is getting ots power from an entity. For example in D&D clerics and warlocks get their powers from someone else be it a god or a lich etc.

What are some other classes that operate in this way?

Palladium Fantasy/Rifts Witch. Heroes Unlimited has Mystic Bestowed.

Shadowrun MAY have Shamans, but that's disputed, and less prevelant after 2nd or 3rd edition.

Deadlands had Holy Men and Hucksters.

Fading Suns had priests of various sorts with theurgy, who were supposed to get it from outside sources.

Those are off the top of my head.
