Hey folks, about to head off on the last book of RotRL and need to have a backup character ready in case mine dies.
I've always loved the idea of a drunken brawler and recently discovered the Brewkeeper (https://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/prestige-classes/other-paizo/a-b/brewkeeper/) prestige class.

Is there some way to synergise these two?
I've been doing some research and having trouble wrapping my head around it all.

Obviously has to be a dwarf.
The mixologist (https://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/base-classes/alchemist/archetypes/paizo-alchemist-archetypes/mixologist-alchemist-archetype/) archetype seems to synergise well with the idea of the Brewkeeper (https://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/prestige-classes/other-paizo/a-b/brewkeeper/), but doesn't do much by way of making him a proficient brawler.
Was considering dropping the brawling and maybe being more of a drunken bomber?? To be honest, our party could do with some ranged damage.
But the idea of wrestling with someone and swigging a tankard between punches fills me with glee. Haha.

Could also maybe go down a tanky cleric route and then into Brewkeeper (https://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/prestige-classes/other-paizo/a-b/brewkeeper/) that way. The Devout Pilgrim (https://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/cleric/archetypes/paizo-cleric-archetypes/varisian-pilgrim) archetype seems to synergise well with Cayden Cailean (https://pathfinderwiki.com/wiki/Cayden_Cailean) and suits the idea of the character.

20 point buy and we're level 17.

Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Well, you're basically looking for a gish build, so I'd go either Warpriest or Magus. Both synergize well with the Brewkeeper.

At level 17, I'd go with the tanky Cleric, take Blade and Tankard (https://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/combat-feats/divine-fighting-technique-combat/) style, and dual-wield Fighting Tankards (https://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic-items/magic-weapons/specific-magic-weapons/fighting-tankard/) full of Brewkeeper Draughts to load yourself up with buffs and healing. Being able to replace any attack with a buff spell is incredibly powerful The Drunken Brawler (https://www.aonprd.com/FeatDisplay.aspx?ItemName=Drunken%20Brawler) feat is an easy source of temp HP, and Extreme Mood Swings (https://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/general-feats/extreme-mood-swings/) can make your buffs more effective when drunk.

The Dirty Trick aspect of Blade and Tankard is quite strong too, if you want to build around that.
