They're also offering the Lost Mines adventure for free.

But Acq Inc is definitely not material I want to be available for my campaigns (completely wrong tone and some questionable balance), so I'm not going to buy it even if free. Because my longstanding policy is that if I don't own it, you can't use it in my campaigns.

Yup, looks like they just opened up Lost Mines to everyone all the time. However you do need to click that link and claim it for the Acq Inc book

Free is free - thanks for the heads up! I can always uncheck the box when I'm building characters without the stuff, which will be most of the time.
