Hello everyone,
I am stuck in a problem: I want my character to have weapon with either the Sizing (https://www.realmshelps.net/magic/weapon/Sizing) or the Morphing (https://www.realmshelps.net/magic/weapon/Morphing) ability (not both, I just haven't decided yet), but both would require a standard action to change the weapon. This is a major pain in the a*s, a standard action in combat basically makes you waste a round. A round each time the weapon needs to be re-adjusted, it's no small cost.
I know anything better would be overpowered for a +1 enhancement to a weapon, but I am no afraid of rising the cost.

So, are you aware of any trick to, either:
1. Give a character the ability to use items' powers quicker (it would be a cost in term of build, if a feat is needed), or
2. Give the weapon an additional enchantment that would make its own power more effective in terms of time cost? Like "quicken" metamagic, but for items' abilities instead of spells? How much could it cost? Since you need spells to create magic items, what happens if instead of casting regular enlarge person, reduce person to craft a Sizing weapon, the crafter casted quickened enlarge person, quickened reduce person? Just ideas I'm throwing in, do you have any advice / knowledge of canon material?

A very awkward and expensive way to free action increase the Size:

(1) Have 15 ranks in Use Magic Device, and the Quicken Spell feat.
(2) Take the Metamagic Spell Trigger (Complete Mage) feat
(3) Have a wand chamber (Dungeonscape) on your weapon.
(4) Put a wand of Enlarge Weapon (Complete Scoundrel) in it.
(5) Use UMD on the wand.
(5) Metamagic Spell Trigger applied to the Wand allows you to free-action activate the Enlarge Weapon spell in the wand and apply it to the weapon, thus increasing its size by 1 ... albeit it drains 4 charges from said wand.

Hope you've got a lot of spare cash lying about.

Use the Schism.
https://www.d20srd.org/srd/psionic/powers/schism.htmOne that comes online much faster is 2 levels in a manifesting class, the synchronicity power (from C.Psi) and the Linked Power feat (also from C.Psi). Manifest Linked synchronicity + synchronicity, and you get 2 standard actions for the price of 1 standard action, 2 pp, and your psionic focus. You can do this in other ways that decrease the cost or increase the effectiveness, but you have to expend more resources to do so. For instance, taking a swift or immediate action power (grip of iron, for example) in addition to the above, so you can Link your swift/immediate action power to synchronicity and use your 2 standard actions for whatever. And/or you could take Metapower (Linked Power + synchronicity) to lower the pp cost of the combo by 2, although you'd never be able to manifest synchronicity without Linking it ever again (not that you'd generally want to).

I wasn't considering "how do I get one more standard action", thank you for your insight!

If you're using size-changing effects that don't auto-absorb your clothing (ie, not wildshape), use weapons that count as armor, as well, since magical armor auto-changes with your size. If you use spiked gauntlets and armor spikes, they change size with you, essentially granting the sizing property for free (but better).

I'm not certain if this would work, but if the weapon was made to be an intelligent magic item, couldn't it use its own actions when needed? Intelligent items come with their own baggage, but I think that route would take the fewest build resources, assuming your DM was willing to work with you on it.
