The errata pdf makes no mention of any change regarding drow sunlight sensivity.

Nope, it's still the same, that said I don't know many DMs that wouldn't let you trade out sunlight sensitivity for normal darkvision so you can play one.

It is suspected it will be removed when the PHB races get revised like most other races did; but that hasn't happened yet

Pretty much the title.

RAW they still do because they're a PHB race, and those haven't been updated yet.

However, people are assuming based on the Duergar/Kobold/Svirfneblin changes that that will be removed eventually.
