Greetings, all!

Magic Item Compendium’s Raiment of the Four set lets wearers replace spells they cast spontaneously with others specified in the set of a certain minimum spell level. Does this apply to invocation users like Dragonfire Adepts and Warlocks due to their invocations having an associated spell level?

Thankee!

I can't see any way to justify it, no. Invocations aren't prepared spells or spell slots, so the character can't sacrifice them as required for the activation.

I recently wrote up an "arcane swordsage" class based on SLAs, and I discovered that there are very few points of interaction between SLAs and the rest of 3.X D&D.

As Dimers said, this doesn't work.

But imho you should be able to UMD most of the relevant effects. So, go for a warlock (to take 10 on UMD) and boost UMD if you wanna use that set.
