This document describes what the various sub-jobs are, but not how your proposed sub-job system would work. Makes it impossible to evaluate.

By default, sub-jobs in FFd6 just allows you to swap between two Jobs for 1 Destiny instead of 3, at the cost of only being able to use those two Jobs.
